Recently my dad went on a trip to both Sydney and Melbourne. When he asked me what i wanted as a present the list in my head would have cost thousands, so i reluctantly narrowed it down to just two incredible items. Red Converse low cuts, and Victor and Rolf FLOWERBOMB. The chucks are everything in a shoe i could ever want, bright, fresh and super chic. The perfume is possibly the most beautiful smell in the world!

Can't wait till i can go to Australia myself and buy up a storm, hope you all had an amazing weekend, wish me luck it's my first day of university tomorrow, eeeekkk.

Rarely do you look at a whole designer collection and not only love every single piece but also have every piece so easy to wear. Sass and Bide's summer lookbook has a colour palette to die for, with textures that range from feathers, aztec prints and lace. A collection that by far is one of my favourites of the year, and one that i wish i could invest in!

However 'Sincerely Jules' is a blog that keeps bringing me back to explore her amazing fashion sense and cute personality. When asked who my favourite New Zealand designer is the obvious answer would be Karen Walker. Although Karen Walker is in my top 5 faves of all time her stuff is really common and not so unique anymore. My answer to those who ask if 100 percent Juliette Hogan. Every single collection is pure perfection and oh so delicate. I love the prints, colours and cuts that are so dainty and 'cute'.

A well known fact is my complete undying love for anything Marchesa. The design is so ethereal, beautiful and unusual all at the same time which creates the most magnificent clothing anyone has ever seen. Every single look is so perfected and delicate you wish you could just hang it on your wall and stare at it endlessly. If ever one day i have the opportunity i WILL wear a Marchesa gown, but sadly for now i will just drool over many images! Hope you are all having an amazing week, much love.

The long wait for summer to arrive has been dreadful and the impatient feeling for the warmth and sun that i am so accustomed to in New Zealand has not been apparent this christmas and new year. However the sun did show up for a spectacular evening in the city, which is my absolute favourite thing to do. Dinner with family friends always brightens my day, and this outfit somewhat worked even though i still wasn't sure about it when i left the house :)

One of my best friends has just got back from living in Argentina for a year! So i was super excited to see her once more, so the three of us had an amazing dinner in the city and some photos at the viaduct! One of my favourite things to do just before christmas is walk along the infamous Franklin Rd where every single house is decorated with beautiful lights. Can't believe it is christmas eve already, you guys excited for tomorrow?

The most beautiful room i have ever seen

An engagement party i attended over the weekend. It was at the Winter Gardens, located in Auckland it is two main glass houses, one tropical the other my dream room of the most beautiful flowers you have ever seen in your life! I was nearly brought to tears. A magical night i will remember.

Wedges!!!!

One of those outfits that you feel good in, a simple lace dress that is casual or evening with a quick change of shoes. The gold sequined scarf is from my mum and one of my favourite things that i own, i have even wore it as a sash, i must say it's pretty universal! The wedges were a gift from my parents for my grades last year and i have got loads of wear out of them even though they can be painful. Hope you are all having a lovely day.

If you like me are heading into the warmer months (which seem to never arrive!!!) then you will feel the same need for some colour to enter your life once more. I feel like i have been entrapped in a grey and black wardrobe for the whole year and can't wait to once again spring out the colour i once had. These few shots are what keep me going to last my exams! How incredible does Nicole Warne look in the citrus suit like outfit, only she could wear something like that and look INCREDIBLE! As for the Prada Candy, new perfume, i am lusting after it purely for the look of it, let's hope it smells good to! Let me know if you have smelt it! A pretty good weekend on all accounts, when i was supposed to be studying hard for my upcoming exams, i decided instead to travel to the Sunday market and have some lunch in a quaint local cafe, I couldn't believe my luck when the table i sat at there was a Vogue Italia (2000) and Vogue Britain (1995)!!!! I always find it so interesting having a look at what we and our parents were crazy about at that time, even in 2000 the fashion and trends seem to be 100 years old, including a-lot of patchwork, hmmmmm?

even though these are pants, they transcend to look like a gorgeous maxi skirt. Effortless chic.

Crop tops are a best friend for a maxi skirt.

To say that the 'maxi' skirt trend is popular would be a vast understatement. However it must be done right. To wear a maxi you have to pair it with a top that is both figure hugging or a sweater of some sort. The length to your shoes but not dragging along and the fabric either jersey or a beautiful silk. Even if you are not tall the maxi can elongate your figure and make you seem tall like you always wanted to be, well it does for me anyway :)

The beginning of the end. Last night was my high school leavers dinner. An emotional event which is bitter sweet. Knowing that i am leaving high school forever is a scary and emotional feeling. It was the most beautiful day, and a gorgeous market filled with divine french pastry's and cupcakes! I met a lovely girl who owns Bluebells Cakery..... you have to check it out! Her stall was any girls dream and the chocolate and rasberry cupcake was a delight....

In May i was lucky enough to have some custom drawings and fittings for a ball dress. The designer is Vinka, the same designer from my fashion week trip, you can check out the post here. Unfortunately because of time constraints it was impossible, but one day i will have this dress haha!!! The whole top of the dress is made of chantilly lace and is dreamy!!

One of my bestest friends, whom i have known since i was 11 just recently went to Europe, and she asked me what i wanted. I nonchalantly answered with "maybe a bag or something", and little did i know she would return with the most perfect, gorgeous and divine bag of my dreams! The colour is vibrant and summery, it's small but perfect sized and it's so unique that absolutely no one else will have it, especially in little old New Zealand. The treasures i received were perfect and i couldn't be happier, let me know what you guys think, for now au revoir.

M whole life, i have dreamed about LV as a side table!!! If only...

To create the perfect space in my opinion is impossible, but these examples are pretty close to it. I always feel like my room could be better, i could have a nicer chair, the drawer knobs would be the crystal glass absolutely beautiful handles, my walls would be adorned with the perfect white frames, and of course would have an adorning walk in closet. Alas this dream will have to wait but until then i can drool over these ones... which one is your fave??

NYFW 2011, is possibly the most exciting time of the year for me because i get to see the worlds best and beautiful designers showcase their devine clothing. Marchesa has always been a personal favourite of mine, and i always find myself telling myself that they will never beat or make another collection quite like that one, but alas i find myself eating my words once more....

To say the collection S/S 2012 is amazing is a vast understatement, the colours are minute but stand out, classy and frilly all at the same time. The dresses are structured and fit to perfection.

My bedside table is adorned with some of my treasures and love of anything pretty. The 'Missing Girlfriend' massive poster is a Stolen Girlfriends poster. I have been eyeing it up at my parent's work where they work with SGC. Then my luck came into play where i was allowed to adorn my wall with it, yay! The beautiful earrings are a present from a friend and they truly make you feel amazing. The gold band ring is something that i have lusted over for a while and i spotted the last one on sale for just $11, score! My little dog, Bentley also enjoys lying in my room where i'm sure he gathers some inspiration for himself, just like i do... well maybe?

Night to Remember....

Because i live in little old New Zealand, massive events are quite rare. Auckland city (where i live) is the biggest but is rarely packed with people like it was the other night. The Rugby World Cup is here, and the opening was incredible!!!! Coming from a Rugby nation, The All Blacks certainly delivered and it was truly the best night i have ever had, check out the photo's below :)

Vogue Enfants. Truly the best idea, it is chic for the little girls who dream of owning everything in the 'big girls' magazines. I can't wait to actually read one, they are truly adorable.

NZ Fashion Week, Bridal.

I had the absolute honor of being invited to go to NZ fashion week this year. I was pretty excited because it is the event of the year, and if you love fashion is the place to be! Since i am very lucky to know one of the most amazing designers, Vinka Haute Couture, i couldn't wait to attend. The dresses were luxurious and to die for, every piece of french lace did not go unnoticed, and ruffles were the centre focus. Even the models looked absolutely perfect, and i knew one of them (pictured below). I really didn't want the day to end, and it was made even more perfect when i received the most amazing goodie bag. Check it out :)

The runway was beautiful, understated and gorgeous.

So near the front i wanted to cry.

John Zimmerman couture was absolutely incredible.

With my 18th birthday just 5 weeks away i have already been thinking over all the things that i would hyperventilate over receiving. Even though i may not get even a quarter of the things below, there is no issue wishing. That is why it is called a wish list after all....

Tiffany's is my number one favourite thing ever, i wear my tiffanys's jewellery every day :)

I know i seem to have quite a number of obsessions, and you are right, but this one obsession really is the lead contender as of now. Charlotte Olympia really does seem to know quite how to design the 'perfect' shoe. Below are a few of my faves from her newest collection, and i'm pretty sure that you will love them to!

To say i love Miu Miu would be an understatement. There is something magical, beautiful and all together dreamy feel to every Miu Miu piece that i come across. The shoes, bags, clothing even bikinis send the heart fluttering and if i could you know what my closet would be filled with.

The South Island of New Zealand was a place i hadn't ventured to, but after this holiday i can't wait to go back!
Queenstown and Wanaka were amazing and it really was a holiday like no other :)

Asides from being probably the most stylish New Yorker and inspiring all fashion lovers, Olivia Palermo is an icon. She certainly knows how to put an outfit together and look like a million dollars. Not just that she is a force to be reckoned with, she has designed her own jewellery alongside Roberta Freymann. A women with a sense like no other and my main inspiration.
